Why Join the Farm Bureau?
Whether you represent a community involved in the production of food products, are home to one of the ports that ships California-grown products all over the world, or are one of the 38 million California consumers of the food, fiber or foliage we produce, you have a stake in the future of California farms and ranches.

With more than 400 different commodities produced in California, Farm Bureau is committed to helping consumers understand where their food comes from, the challenges associated with producing a safe, affordable food supply and ensuring consumer confidence in California-grown products.
How to Join
Everyone is eligible to apply for Farm Bureau membership and receive the many benefits and services available. When you join, you are applying for membership in Santa Barbara County Farm Bureau. All members receive the quarterly Central Coast Farm & Ranch Magazine produced exclusively for Santa Barbara County Farm Bureau & Ventura County Farm Bureau members. Farmers and ranchers who receive income from production agriculture join as Agricultural Members and will receive the weekly Ag Alert®, California’s number one agricultural trade journal. All others join as an Associate Member and will receive access to dozens of discounts and the bimonthly California Bountiful magazine filled with useful information and background on food production, home gardening and other subjects. Businesses (agriculturally related and non-agriculturally related) may join as Business Members. Business members receive the same benefits as Agricultural and Associate members, plus all Business members are listed in the Business section of our weekly newsletter and website.

By Telephone – Call the Member Help Desk at 1-800-698-FARM (3276) and have your credit card ready for dues payment. Be ready to provide name, address, phone and specify that you would like to join Santa Barbara County Farm Bureau.
Walk-In – 180 Industrial Way Buellton, CA 93427. Our hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Click here for a map.
By Mail – Complete and mail an application form to the Santa Barbara County Farm Bureau, PO Box 1846, Buellton, CA 93427.
Online – New members may join Farm Bureau online, through a secure Web service. Be ready to provide name, address, phone and other pertinent information and have a credit card ready for dues payment.
